The Motorola Quench XT3 was launched recently in India as Motorola’s entry into the HVGA (320x480) mid-range Android phone segment. Yesterday, while at a Croma store (Yes, that awesome place filled with gadgets we love!) we were really surprised to find that the camera interface on the Quench XT3 has an option to switch to 5 MP. This appears to be the same camera interface that is available on the Spice Mi-300. However, all online documentation (Specs, Fact Sheet, Press release) and the back of the device itself, indicate that the camera is a 3.1 megapixel affair. Now, what are we to do? We’re surprised that no one else seems to have noticed this yet. Oh well… Stating that the camera is 3.1 MP and giving us 5 MP is good, no?! We’d rather have it this way, than the other way around.
