Spice MI-310  LG Optimus One P500

If you’ve been following The Indian Geek at all this year, you’ll know by now that we think the Spice MI-310 and the LG Optimus One P500 are great value-for-money. A recent perusal through the Flipkart website unearthed the info that the money you would need to shell out to take home one of these mid-range Android phones just dropped a bit. The 512-MB containing LG Optimus One P500 can be had for Rs. 10,299/- and the entry-level HVGA Android 2.2 offering from Spice Mobiles can be had for Rs. 7399/- The LG Optimus One P500 has been dropping steadily from it’s launch price of nearly Rs. 13,000/- but to see the recently launched Spice MI-310 at such a low price so soon is quite interesting. At this price point, the LG Optimus One P500 just became an excellent buy for someone with the round figure of Rs. 10,000/- as the budget for a phone, while the Spice MI-310 would be giving all the QVGA-based phones (several from Samsung, the Ideos from Huawei, the Micromax Andro) a run for their money. So who’s buying? Let us know in comments below.
